During ten years as a newspaper journalist, Ron worked at several Ohio daily newspapers, including a five years stint at the Columbus Dispatch in Columbus, Ohio.
Ron left journalism in the late 1980s to become a full-time freelance photographer, specializing in commercial, editorial and public relations photography. His commercial and editorial photos have been used by numerous companies and news outlets such as Pfizer, Microsoft, Wendy's, IBM, Toledo Scale and Time Magazine.
Ron earned a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Cincinnati in 1972.
Today he applies his considerable skills in communications to his full-time career in residential real estate. Rovtar works out of the Prudential Real Estate of the Rockies office next to the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder CO.
